Doggy Dayspa has teamed up with My Local Vet in Capalaba to offer all of our signature services from their new purpose built facility EVERY TUESDAY! This means you can still attend a physical bricks and mortar location for your salon needs.

My Local Vet backs onto Capalaba shopping precinct so you can conveniently have your dog groomed while you do your shopping or have a coffee.

Home Studio

If your pup prefers the comforts of home, Doggy Dayspa also operates a home studio on Wednesday from 9am - 2pm. These sessions are still 1:1 service and are cage free. Our home studio is in Thornlands, address provided at booking. Book online or call to make an appointment 0405419351.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work in the rain?

If it is light showers we can continue to operate, however in heavy showers or rain we must cancel our mobile grooming service. If it is raining on the day of your appointment we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. If this happens you will have the option to 1. Bring your dog to our home salon in Thornlands to complete their service (we offer complimentary collection within a 10km radius), or 2. Reschedule the mobile service to another day.

Do you groom puppies?

Yes we take bookings for puppies. We consider any dog under 6months old to still be a puppy. During puppy grooms we allow extra time so your puppy can have a positive experience and not feel pressured or rushed.

This is my dog's first groom. What should I expect?

If your dog is unfamiliar with grooming equipment and procedures, it can be overwhelming for them. We allow extra time for first grooms so your dog is not pressured. While we will try our best to achieve a full groom, this is ultimately dependant on your dog. We consider first grooms part training and part grooming to set your dog up for a lifetime of positive grooming experiences. Checkout our blog for preparing your dog for their first groom!

I want to edit or cancel my booking, what do I do?

If you would like to adjust your booking or cancel your treatment, please give us a call on 0405419351 or email us at admin@doggydayspa.com.au so we can adjust our time accordingly. Please note that we require a minimum of 48hrs notice or cancellation fees may apply. Refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Do you take big dogs?

Yes we love big dogs! Our van and trailer are extra large inside and have a large bath tub. We treat all sized dogs from miniature through to giant sized.

How much is dog grooming Thornlands?

Our prices can be seen on the Homepage pricelist and also on our service menu.

All prices are inclusive of GST and mobile service fee.

Washes start from $60. Grooms start from $120. Deshedding starts from $130.

Are you a franchise?

No, we are a family run business located in Thornlands, Brisbane.

Do you offer breed specific clips?

No. We offer practical clipping and grooming services to suit your lifestyle. During your consult we will ask you how you like your dog clipped and what features are important to you. We will also assess your lifestyle needs and offer recommendations if needed.

Do you come to Victoria Point?

Yes, we are based in Thornlands and travel to Victoria Point, Cleveland, Ormiston, Wellington Point, Birkdale, Thorneside, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Mount Cotton, Sheldon, Redland Bay.
